Privacy on Facebook is controlled primarily from the Privacy Settings page, which you can access from the Settings link at the top of any Facebook page. From here, there are settings for Profile, Search, News Feed and Wall, and Applications.
Profile privacy refers to the visibility of your profile information. You can control each type of profile content separately. Click the question mark to the right of any content type to learn more about what it includes. If you click “Edit Custom Settings” for any content type, you can exclude specific friends or Friend lists from viewing content by typing the first few letters of the friend or list in the “Except these People” field. There is also a “Contact Information” tab on this page for editing each element of your contact information.

Like profiles, they can be enhanced with applications that help the entity communicate with and engage their fans, and capture new audiences virally through their fans’ recommendations to their friends.
You can create and manage a Facebook Page for your organization from your personal account. You can create a Page here. Please note that only the official representative of an organization, business, celebrity, or band is permitted to create a Page.
